About the Pediatrician Clinical Trial Support Role
We are hiring a Pediatrician for clinical trial support in Lexington, VA. In this freelance position, you will join a pivotal clinical study advancing treatment for a rare seizure disorder in children. As a Pediatrician Clinical Trial Support provider, you’ll make meaningful contributions to pediatric healthcare while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities

Conduct 9 scheduled patient visits over 12 months (around 1 visit per month)

Perform pediatric clinical assessments per trial protocol

Document observations accurately and ensure high-quality reporting

Collaborate with research coordinators and nursing staff

Adhere to study protocols, compliance rules, and ethical standards

Qualifications

MD or DO with active Virginia medical license

This two-year clinical trial evaluates a new therapy for a rare pediatric seizure disorder. With 140 patients enrolled and only one non-responder, the study shows outstanding early results.
