We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Freelance Project Coordinator (UK-based) to support ongoing clinical trials and research projects. This remote clinical research role is ideal for someone with CRO or life sciences experience looking for flexible, project-based work in a collaborative environment.

As a Freelance Project Coordinator UK, you will play a crucial role in coordinating trial operations, managing project documentation, and ensuring the successful execution of tasks across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities – Freelance Project Coordinator UK

• Coordinate day-to-day trial and research activities alongside Project Managers

• Assist in the management of clinical trial logistics, including scheduling and communications

• Maintain accurate trackers, reports, and clinical documents for audit readiness

• Act as a liaison between sponsors, vendors, participants, and internal teams

• Support regulatory and ethics submissions, protocol updates, and compliance processes

• Draft sponsor communications and help compile project updates and reports

• Test internal platforms and digital tools alongside the tech and product teams

• Recommend workflow improvements and best practices in project coordination

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Project Management, or related discipline

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a CRO, pharma, or clinical research environment

• Working knowledge of ICH-GCP, MHRA, and UK clinical trial regulations

• Experience with tools like Microsoft Office, Asana, Smartsheet, Trello, or similar

• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote setting

• Based in the United Kingdom

Contract Overview

• Hours: 10–30 hours/week (depending on project needs)
