A fast-growing biotech company focused on the discovery and development of novel antibody-based therapeutics is seeking a Business Development & Licensing professional to join its Boston-based team. This role offers a unique blend of scientific and commercial responsibilities, driving licensing and partnership strategies across multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, immunology, and neurology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and lead external partnering opportunities, including out-licensing, co-development, and strategic collaborations.
  • Develop robust business cases and present opportunities with clear analysis and risk assessment to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage cross-functional due diligence and act as the primary BD contact in strategic discussions.
  • Support deal negotiations, term sheet development, and alliance management.
  • Contribute to the evolution of BD strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Represent the company at key industry conferences and partnering events.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in a relevant biomedical field (e.g., immunology, pharmacology, cancer biology) preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, licensing, R&D, or strategy within the life sciences industry.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical R&D and BD/licensing processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Mandarin and English fluency required.
