About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and communicative Professional Affairs Manager to support the growth of our myopia education and engagement efforts in the DACH region. In this newly created role, you’ll act as a scientific and clinical bridge between our organization and eye care professionals (ECPs), helping to build awareness and adoption of evidence-based myopia management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a clinical and scientific liaison to optometrists, orthoptists, ophthalmologists, and other stakeholders in the eye care community.
  • Deliver scientific education, training, and presentations on myopia management at events, webinars, and workshops.
  • Support the development of educational materials tailored to various audiences (ECPs, patients, internal teams).
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and medical teams to align messaging and support product launches.
  • Attend and represent the company at key industry events and conferences.
  • Collect field insights to inform strategy and ensure clinical relevance in our approach.
  • Build strong professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and local associations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Orthoptics, Optometry (BSc), or relevant experience in ophthalmology, clinical education, or medical affairs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident in delivering complex topics clearly.
  • Ability to tailor messaging to different audiences (clinicians, patients, commercial teams).
  • Technically curious and willing to stay current with evolving trends in eye care.
  • Comfortable working both independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in German is essential; English and/or French is a strong asset.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for events and meetings.
