About the Role
We’re hiring a Business Development Director to drive growth across the European market. In this role, you’ll identify new business opportunities, expand the client base, and build long-term partnerships. You’ll act as a strategic leader, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote the company’s API development and manufacturing capabilities.
This position is ideal for someone with deep experience in pharmaceutical outsourcing, CDMO services, and strategic sales.
Key Responsibilities

Develop Strategy: Lead and execute a growth-focused business development plan across Europe.

Build Client Relationships: Identify and engage pharmaceutical, biotech, and specialty chemical companies.

Drive Sales: Present the company’s CDMO services and convert opportunities into long-term contracts.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with R&D, process development, and manufacturing to align on client needs.

Lead Negotiations: Manage contract discussions, ensuring favorable terms and strong client relationships.

Represent the Brand: Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to raise brand visibility.

Stay Informed: Track industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform strategy.
What We’re Looking For

Extensive experience in business development or sales within a CDMO, API manufacturing, or pharma outsourcing setting.

Deep knowledge of cGMP manufacturing, process, and analytical development.

An established network in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

A proven track record of closing high-value business deals.

Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Experience managing complex client relationships across global teams.

Willingness to travel frequently for meetings, conferences, and site visits.
