Job Title: Sub-Investigator / Co-Investigator (Contractor)

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Sub-Investigator / Co-Investigator to support the Principal Investigator in the execution of clinical trials across a range of therapeutic areas. This is a part-time, contractor role ideal for experienced clinicians with availability to support ongoing clinical research studies in collaboration with a reputable CRO operating in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Principal Investigator in the conduct of clinical trials in accordance with the study protocol, ICH-GCP guidelines, local regulations, and CRO SOPs.
- Support patient recruitment, screening, informed consent, and clinical assessments as required by the protocol.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in source records and electronic data capture systems.
- Collaborate with site staff and sponsor representatives to ensure compliance with study timelines and data quality standards.
- Participate in monitoring visits, audits, and inspections as needed.
- Assist with safety reporting, protocol deviations, and resolution of queries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant clinical trial regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) or equivalent healthcare qualification (e.g., licensed physician in Germany).
- At least 1–2 years of experience in clinical research or previous role as Sub-/Co-Investigator preferred.
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP, EU Clinical Trial Regulation, and local German regulatory requirements.
- Fluent in German (written and spoken); English proficiency required for documentation and communication.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to commit to 13 hours per week over a 3-month contract.
