Position Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of our client’s global presence. This role will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities, working closely with the Head of Business Development. The ideal candidate will be proactive, strategic, and skilled in building long-lasting client relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the clinical research and pharmacovigilance sector.

  • Client Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies.

  • Strategic Sales Plans: Develop and execute targeted sales plans to drive growth across Europe and/or the US.

  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and position the company as a thought leader.

  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as operations and regulatory affairs, to tailor service offerings to client needs.

  • Industry Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and proposal development, ensuring alignment with company objectives.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in business development or sales within a Clinical CRO, Pharmacovigilance, or related life sciences sector.

  • Network: A strong network within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries.

  • Strategic Focus: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives that deliver measurable results.

  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients and attend industry events.
