About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and field-oriented Business Developer to drive sales and expand our presence in the laboratory sciences sector across France. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and executing strategic initiatives to generate revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in France.
Initiate contact with potential clients and conduct commercial prospecting.
Visit clients, assess their needs, and deliver sales presentations.
Lead negotiations and manage deal closures.
Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
Stay updated on industry trends, market potential, and customer needs.
Provide insights on competitive activities and opportunities for new products/services.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure feasibility and capacity to meet client needs.
Support customer service teams in sales quotation processes.
Maintain relationships with clients throughout and beyond project execution.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharma, or related fields.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development within laboratory sciences, CROs, preclinical/clinical research, regulatory affairs, or related sectors.
Previous international exposure and relationships with major corporations are a plus.
Languages
Native French speaker required.
Fluent in English.
