Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled and strategic Director of Clinical Operations. You will lead and manage clinical development programs in Switzerland and internationally. Your role will include planning, running, and overseeing clinical trials to deliver high-quality data on time. You will ensure all work follows regulatory rules and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy

Lead clinical operations for Phase I–IV studies.

Work closely with leadership, medical, regulatory, and commercial teams.

Align clinical strategies with company goals.
Trial Management

Oversee protocol design, site selection, monitoring, and data reporting.

Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, Swissmedic, and company SOPs.

Manage vendors (CROs, labs, logistics), including contracts and performance.
Budget & Resources

Create and manage trial budgets, timelines, and resources.

Build and lead a strong clinical operations team.
Quality & Compliance

Monitor trial data quality and compliance.

Support audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
Stakeholder Communication

Act as the contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Represent the company in regulatory meetings and conferences when needed.
Qualifications

Advanced degree in life sciences (MSc, PharmD, MD, or PhD preferred).

10+ years in clinical operations; 5+ years in leadership.

Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, EU CTR, and Swiss regulations.

Proven success managing global clinical trials.

Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Fluent in English; German or French is a plus.
