The Role

We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Head of Business Development to lead revenue growth and client acquisition efforts. You’ll play a key role in expanding our commercial reach in the pharmacovigilance space.

Vice President title available for candidates with exceptional experience and leadership credentials.

You will also be instrumental in growing and leading the commercial team, helping shape the future of our business.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy tailored to the pharmacovigilance sector.

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with pharma, biotech, and medical device clients.

  • Cultivate strong, long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor.

  • Work closely with internal regulatory and safety teams to craft compelling proposals.

  • Lead contract negotiations and manage the full sales cycle.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends with market research and competitive analysis.

  • Represent the company at key events, conferences, and client meetings.

  • Drive lead generation through digital channels, partnerships, and referrals.

  • Build and manage a high-performing business development team.


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven success in business development or sales within pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or life sciences consultancy.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry trends.

  • Track record of closing complex, high-value deals.

  • Skilled communicator and negotiator who engages confidently with senior stakeholders.

  • Self-starter with a passion for results and growth.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to tailor solutions alongside technical teams.

  • Experience building and managing teams is a plus.

  • Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field preferred.
