Position Overview:
We are seeking Clinicians to conduct remote clinical interviews and administer cognitive assessments to subjects with preclinical dementia enrolled in a pharmaceutical clinical trial. This is a contract position, with work assigned on an as-needed basis according to availability. Comprehensive training, supervision, and ongoing recalibration of clinical skills will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Central Rating

  • Conduct remote, semi-structured clinical interviews and cognitive assessments with study subjects and caregivers.
  • Administer computerized and traditional cognitive assessments via a telehealth platform.
  • Score completed assessments.
  • Participate in regular clinical skill recalibration activities.

Central Monitoring

  • Review completed neuropsychological test batteries to ensure accuracy in administration and scoring.
  • Evaluate response forms and recorded scale administrations, providing feedback to raters via email and telephone.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, geriatric psychology, behavioural neurology, or a related field.
  • Formal training in neurodegenerative diseases, clinical interviewing, and cognitive assessment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical interviewing and psychological assessment in research, academic, or clinical settings.
  • At least 2 years of direct clinical experience with patients experiencing symptoms of Mild Cognitive Impairment and Early Alzheimer’s Dementia.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a detail-oriented, organized, and methodical approach.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, teleconference platforms (e.g., Zoom, Skype), and cloud-based storage services.
