Role Overview:
As the Business Development Director, you will be at the forefront of driving the company’s growth strategy across Europe. Your main responsibility will be to expand the client base, build lasting relationships, and identify new business opportunities. This role requires a strategic approach, along with deep knowledge of pharmaceutical outsourcing and contract manufacturing.
What You’ll Do:

Shape Growth Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to grow the company’s presence across key markets globally.

Client Engagement: Identify, engage, and foster relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and speciality chemical companies, showcasing the company’s API development and manufacturing capabilities.

Build Strategic Partnerships: Forge and maintain long-term partnerships with key clients, leveraging the company’s technical expertise and global network.

Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with R&D, process development, and manufacturing teams to ensure the client’s needs are met effectively.

Lead Negotiations: Manage contract negotiations, ensuring the best commercial terms and nurturing ongoing, productive relationships with clients.

Represent the Brand: Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to raise brand awareness and increase market presence.

Monitor Market Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to shape future business strategies.
What We’re Looking For:

Significant experience in business development or sales within a CDMO, API manufacturing, or pharmaceutical outsourcing environment.

In-depth understanding of cGMP manufacturing, process development, and analytical development in the API sector.

Established network within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that result in securing high-value business.

Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to manage complex client relationships and work effectively with global teams.

A willingness to travel frequently for client engagements and industry events.
